Tell us a bit about yourself Art has been a distraction for me ever since I can remember. In the last ten years, it has become more of a focus, and it taken me to galleries and classrooms all over this world. I have been teaching and making art in Canada, the United States, and South East Asia and hope to continue learning from artists from around the world for many years to come.
What inspires you? I'm most inspired by the candid moments of beauty that compel me to sit down and draw. That could be anything -- a flower or a conversation between two people.
The method behind the madness I'm mostly a watercolor artist..... a pencil, sketchbook, brush and small palette are wonderful travel companions.
We'd love to get to know a bit more about you I'm always interested in anything that doesn't involve a screen. Books, people, music, places....
Tell us a story My first art work sell was in Bangalore, India. I was hosting a small party and a new friend noticed a set of watercolor paintings featuring the jazz greats. He offered a handsome sum for all four, and I obliged. Since then, I've tried to keep as many paintings on my walls as I can. You never know who will visit.
