Tell us a bit about yourself My artistic journey started after completing high school. I began studying arts at a private institution where I learned basic drawing, working with water colour and acrylic as well as miniature arts work. After immigrating to Canada, beside my studies I also took classes in visual arts. Currently I am in my 4th year as a visual Arts (BFA) student in the University of Ottawa, specializing in painting and drawing; while at the same time focusing on building a collection of works.
What inspires you? I am inspired by nature, colours, power of natural world, emotion and challenges, passage of time, migration, and many more themes that encourage me to combine these elements with different elements of painting in a space and create work of art to tell a story.
The method behind the madness My main medium in painting is acrylic and my abstract work is usually done in acrylic and often with mixed media materials. my techniques are varies some works are textured using different material and some works are very fluid and gestural.
We'd love to get to know a bit more about you Other things that interests me other than art, I like being active I go to gym. I love cooking. Before starting University I was working in a private company as an accounting clerk and reception and I really enjoyed working.
